Calling In The Spirits
Many ancient traditions use herbs and other natural items from the earth to call in the Spirits for sacred ceremony. A pinch of tobacco; a handful of cornmeal; smudging with sage, cedar, and sweetgrass ~ these are precious gifts for the Spirits especially when joined with our deepest respect and gratitude.
In offering gifts to the Spirits with heartfelt intent, we honor the Spirits' presence, their vast awareness and knowing, and ask for their guidance and support.
